March 7, 2022

We are excited to welcome Hannah Long-Higgans to the SideXSide team!

As a lifelong musician, Hannah learned from a young age how to bring people into an experience, capture their emotions, and ultimately, to move them. Today, Hannah is an award-winning journalist and filmmaker who spent half a decade at BBC News, where she created short docs across the US for a global audience. Through a Davis Project for Peace grant in Jordan’s Zaatari refugee camp she assisted Syrian refugee journalists in taking their original reporting into the digital space. At SideXSide Hannah brings her human-centric storytelling approach to her camerawork and edits. Hannah speaks German.
