Summary
Passover is a Jewish holiday that reflects on the Jewish people’s bondage in Egypt and their eventual exodus. It is both a time to remember the sorrow of slavery and to celebrate the joy of freedom. Produced during the COVID-19 pandemic, our team brought to life HIAS’s illustrated Haggadah (Passover prayer book), placing the Passover story in the context of the current world climate. Our team created this animation to remind viewers of those made even more vulnerable by the global pandemic: today’s refugees and asylum seekers.
